Benelli Adds Supply Chain Pros and Focus on Process Improvement

ACCOKEEK, Md. (December 16, 2021) – Benelli USA, which recently completed an update of their corporate strategic plan, announces a key promotion and new hire to further develop their dedicated supply chain team.

Benelli USA is proud to promote Ryan Mead and welcome Joe Pomponi to the company.

Mead and Pomponi are the newest members of the Benelli USA supply chain team. Under this new focus, the team will consider all aspects of the Benelli USA supply chain, from demand planning through customer delivery, to help identify ways to improve inventory management and customer fill rate, while increasing collaboration of all stakeholders in the process.

Ryan Mead will enter the newly created role of Director of Supply Chain. Mead will ensure all sourcing and delivery platforms are responsive and adaptable for continuous improvement. Mead brings a wealth of internal knowledge to the role, having worked as Benelli USA’s Independent Channel Manager, working day-to-day with independent accounts, the product management team, finance and customer service.

Joe Pomponi will take on the task of supply analyst. Pomponi will be an integral member of the supply chain team tasked with driving service-level improvements to Benelli customers and the organization. He brings a wealth of purchasing experience and a Masters of Science with an emphasis on supply chain.
