Meet Eddie Salter

Eddie Salter has been a top level competitive turkey caller for more than 25 years, and has earned four Alabama State Championships and two World Championships.

Although known for turkey hunting, Eddie also enjoys deer hunting. In 1985, he created Eddie Salter Calls, Inc., producing a complete line of turkey and deer calls, scents and hunting videos. Eddie’s success in hunting deer and turkey earned him a spot among the Top Ten Sportsmen in 1986 and ‘89.

With over 35 years of hunting experience, Eddie is recognized as one of the country’s leading authorities on deer and turkey hunting. He has appeared on ESPN, TNN The Outdoor Channel, numerous hunting videos, television commercials, and has been profiled in magazine articles and on radio programs.
