Super Sport Question

I recently bought a SuperSport off of a friend of mine. My question is: Do any of you have trouble removing the barrel from the top of the receiver? It's a little hard to put those two pieces together, but very hard to take apart. I'm wondering if I need to use some type of lube before assembly.

lube is always a good idea..they are tight from the factory....
