man I'd go with the used one... inspect it and see if he'll let you exchange it if something goes wrong within X amount of days...

Thanks for the info and response. I did purchase the used one and boy am I HAPPY
 ! He did give me a 30 day warranty and so far I have nothing to gripe about.
