I have converted several safties on SBE's but am wondering if the same thing can be done on SBE II's.I am contemplating a purchase on an SBE II and although I shoot left handed I am a righty. I also realize that the recoil pad will have to be changed on a right handed model but that does not bother me. The saftey is my real concern.

Shouldn't be a problem. The part numbers for the RH and LH safety buttons are the same.
Access is topside and easy. Pin, spring, detent.
