There have been lots of posts regarding the inertia system not cycling light loads.
To which Benelli are you referring?

I am very close to buying a SS. How about the cycling light load problem. Is there one???

Also I would like to take my SS on duck/geese hunts. Does anyone see a problem with that??

    Springer7,

It's your gun, if it shoots the loads you want take it waterfowl hunting. I'm going to take my M1014 skeet shooting. Like most automatics and as Tucker301 pointed out the SS needs to be broken in. Shooting a few boxes of heavy loads would do that.

If you go to this http://www.shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=36758

A guy gives his opinion of his new SS. If the link doesn't work go to Shotgun World, then benelli, subject is Supersport. He seems to like it. I think it might be my next gun purchase.

My new SS cycles 7/8oz. @1200fps reloads without problem. A friend uses Fiocchi 7/8oz. training rounds for skeet/SC and hasn't had any issues, either.
