Does a left handed bolt have the same groove pattern on the bottom as a right handed model bolt does? Do they the same grooves on the bottom?

Yes, being a Southpaw myself, I've looked at both. The left hand SBE is just a mirror image of the right hand version.

no it's not an "exact" mirror.
the button that closes the bolt, is on the wrong side for me and i hate it.
me being a lefty of course, other than that though, they are mirrored.
