Nova questions?

How much does a nova weigh? Benelli says 7.9 but I think its lighter. Does the recoil reducer work? Is the gun good for pheasant hunting.

I just bought my Nova and it's right around 7 pounds. I didn't buy the recoil reducer. I'm guessing that adds close to a pound or so.

I never really weighed my NOVA but i did get the recoil reducer.
One day my brother and i shot about 10 rounds each of 3"-3 1/2" buckshot and slugs we were both bruised and shot shy. After installing the recoil reducer we could shoot 3"-3 1/2" all day! I would say it reduced felt recoil 2/3 a great investment!

ok...so i got a recoil reducer, nd i threw away the rubber hose, someone told me u can buy a new piece from the hardware store, well what gauge us that nd is it lined with wire between the layers?

i have a nova and it will be an ideal gun for pheasant that is what mine is for and quail and turkey and chukkar whatever getas inthe way during that season. i have been thinking about getting the reducer what kind of price is it
