?? about front sling attachment on M1 Tac

Is the front sling attachment ring supposed to still be loose after putting on the mag extender or is it supposed to cinch down tight and not move?

I just picked the shotgun up from my FFL, and when I took the extension off I thought the attachment was rigid, but after putting it back together it can float around.

Maybe I'm just imagining things.

The sling attachment on the SBEII is "loose" in that it spins around in the cap.

Well, as near as I can remember, none of my rifle sling studs are loose on the stock, but I manage to carry them comfortably all day.

I think Gun_Guy spins around in circles more than most. He needs a loose swivel to go with the loose screws.
