M1 Tactical ghost rings

I have a M1 Tactical with ghost ring sites. Can anybody tell me what size the nut is that holds the front site pin?

A tip if it helps. When you re-attach it, use some Loctite BLUE (non-permanent) to help it from moving. Then, when you want to remove, a tool will overcome the Loctite. Stay safe. Tacman

Where did you find a 5.5mm? I bought a 6mm wrench a few days ago guessing it would be close to the right size. 6mm is the smallest CarQuest carries.

Leaned on it like a bad habit,stripped it,had to get a new one,sounds like Tacman has the solution,later on man M1014 [img]smile.gif[/img]
