cleaning supernova

I am considering purchasing a supernova, but have a question regarding cleaning between the metal and the polymer covering on the receiver. If the gun were to be submerged how do you get the moisture out of that area and oil the metal. Thanks, Matt

I don't think it would be an issue.
I believe the polymer is bonded to the metal. Not just an overlay.
