Affinity Questions for Owners

Purchased a new Affinity and when trying to assemble the barrel, the mag tube end cap flew off along with the spring and plug. I am unsure if those are the only three parts and the end cap just needs to be compressed and inserted into the tube? Can someone with an Affinity please post a pic of the mag tube end cap inserted properly? The red plug seems like a weird fit into the end cap with the cross shape of the plug not fitting any pattern on the end cap opening. Also, is there really supposed to be a noticable click when the barrel assembly is inserted into the receiver like the manual says? I already realized the bolt needs to be forward and not back like the manual says in order to get the barrel assembly to even insert into the receiver. Thanks.

See previous thread "Affinity - Remove Shot Plug." It might be helpful. I posted a picture of the mag tube with the plug removed and the retaining ring and spring installed.
