Renaissance, Instinct or Diamond??

As I am surching for an O/U I have realized that the Renaissance, Instict and Diamond Elite are all similarly priced?

So what would you purchase? I like the Renaissance, but is the Instinct better since it is a new current model?

I am planning to pheasant hunt and want a 12 ga 28" bbl, and would probably never sell the gun so I also want it to become a family heirloom that I can give to my son.

I can only speak on my .12ga 28" Instinct L. One awesome shotgun, does everything I would ever want out of a O/U.

Like Crofton I am real happy with my Instinct L 12 gauge, 28" barrels and should be found for about $1,000.00


I believe the Renaissance is a discontinued model and would not have the 7 year warranty that the Instinct comes with, although my dealer still has one in the rack it is going for about $1400.00

The Diamond Elite is a Dick's exclusive and again I do not know if it would have the 7 year warranty although it may be a fine shotgun I feel more comfortable with my local dealer who is quite knowledgable, provides good service and is willing to order order anything needed.
