    Default 12 ga. safety issue

I have a newly purchased Condor over and under 12 ga. that after I release the safety and fire the first round the gun returns to safe so that it won't let me fire the second round without manually taking off the safety. I would think that once I remove the gun from being safe it would stay in that mode untile it is either manually made safe again. Am I missing something or is the gun just not working properly.

Your gun should stay in the "fire" mode until you've discharged the second barrel and open the action.

Before firing your gun, did you remove the stock and thoroughly clean the trigger assembly. Sometimes the packing grease interferes with proper operation.

I've seen directions for stock removal and trigger/safety cleaning posted on the "I Love My Stoeger" forum on Shotgunworld.

    Good luck!

Its not working properly. Send me a PM or a Visitor Message with your e-mail address and I'll send you cleaning recommendations. I can also send you the manual safety conversion instructions. Try that. It "might" help. If that doesn't work, you'll have to send it back to Stoeger.
