Default Does this M2 Loading Technique Work on Your M4?

I haven't analyzed the internals of the M2, but I tried this on my M4 and it didn't work.

    Anyone else try it?

    Not all @ once!

The reason I ask is someone posted in the comments section that it worked on their M4. That's not my experience. Anyone else want to try it?

It is an idiotic method on a number of different levels; most importantly, it jeopardizes your fingers from being skewered by the extractor as the bolt slams forward....after the cartridge is in the portal, simply applying pressure on the bolt latch with the palmar surface of your finger(s) completes the task quite easily in a conventional fashion....what numbnuts prefers to have a "foot race" between the bolt moving forward and you removing your fingers from path of harm's way ?

    Yup ,
I can and do use it on my M4 . Just another technique to load the gun ,especially if you do not have a larger button or lever bolt release .I did'nt hurt my fingers either .

Strange that it works on some and not others. Oh well.
