I am a new M4 owner and I'd like to have as much possible ammo capacity as possible.

Maximum capacity with a traditional magazine on it.

What's some recommended full size/extended magazines?

Best option is to make it a 9 shot (7+1+1) using Kip's Titanium 7 round mag. Search carriercomp. It runs about $190 and includes a new spring. It is about 6oz lighter than what your M4 came with. I assume you know the M4 can be ghost loaded (round in chanber and on the ramp + 7 in mag).

The XRAIL doesn't work on the M4 regardless.
