    Default 1873 Sight ?

New member here. I just bought a 1873 in .45 Colt. I love the gun but it shoots about 3-4 inches high and 3-4 inches to the right, it groups fine but is their anyone making an adjustable front sight. I see it has a screw so I know I can remove it. I really love this gun just wish I could adjust the sights. Thanks for any help, Jason.

Are you talking about the 1873 Colt SAA or the Rifle? If the rifle then yes there are sights available for them. You should probably check Brownells and see what they have it. If not there are some other sites that I don't currently have the names of but if you search for CAS or SASS groups odds are you will find a number of sources.

If it is the revolver as far as I know they have fixed sights unless Uberti makes and adjustable sight version that I'm not aware off.

089.jpg080.jpgBoth sights are adjustable. Just loosen the screw on that front sight and tap it with a brass punch to the right or tap your rear sight to the left. This gun shot right also and both have been moved to follow the bullet. Back one is slightly to the left and front slightly to the right.
