Can you please help me out?
When I was 17 my father let me use his Franchi 12ga. to phesant hunt. And ever since than I was in love with it. Well on July 26 2012 I lost my dad to brain cancer and he left me that Franchi, which in my eyes was the most valuable thing he owned. what I need to know is
1. When was it made?
2. How do I know what model it is?
3. I need to know the value so I can have it insured.
And anything else you could tell me about this fine gun.
Here is the all the numbers and information that is stamped on the gun
On the left side of the action it says (L.A. Luigi Franchi Brescia)made in italy. On the under side of the action are the numbers(A11590) and on the left side of the barrel is (S.p.A.Luigi Franchi-Brescia-made in italy-) and on the lower right side were the forearm meets the action there are a number of stamps of figures that I can not tell what they are. there is also the letters (XX1) and the letters (PSF) Can anyone help me out with any of the info I need?
