uberti customer service
Hello, i have not visited here for a while [into my ar shooting right now] but i must make a comment about uberti customer service, a while back i had problems with my uberti hombre, the front sight fell off, i called and got an ra emailed to me, i sent it back and several weeks later i got my gun back. The front sight was installed and but there was a dent on the front of the barrel where it appears some type of tool was placed in order to remove the barrel, the dent was ugly but the gun otherwise was fine, i figured i would live with it because i never intend on selling it anyways, well the other day the front sight fell off again, i called and again i was emailed an ra, i sent the gun back yesterday [4/11/12] and today [4/12/12] i got a call from beretta usa telling me they are sending me a brand new gun, wow, hows that for superior customer service, i just wanted all to know that, thanks for reading pghrich

While your Hombre probably shouldn't have left Uberti's service center with the dent in the barrel the first time-around, it's great that on the second service call that they took notice and replaced the entire gun. In a time when most companies let customer service take a back-seat to profits, it's refreshing to see a company (Uberti) take the bull by the horns and do the right thing for their customers!

I agree and sent a Uberti Cattleman back to have the cylinder/barrel gap reset as it was too tight binding after a few rounds. Got the gun back in 5 business days fixed with a good .006" gap instead of the .0005" gap originally. It now handles both smokeless and black powder rounds with no binding up.

That's exactly why i made the comment about uberti [beretta] customer service, they did what all of us use to take for granted. Uberti has certainly earned a customer for life, bty i also have a beretta stampede. pghrich
