I Love my Stoegers! Have two m2000's first one I got from Dicks on clearance. Walked in and picked up the exact gun I was looking for m2000 walnut stock 28" barrel for ...$349.97! No brainer took a chance on it and could not be happier. Flawless performance with 1000's of rounds thought it trap shooting.
Liked it so much I sold my mossy 500 pump HD and got the 18.5" steady grip tactical version for HD. Went shooting with my friends brand new Benelli m4 and fell in love just couldn't swing the $1600.00 so I decided to make a "Benelli on a budget." please don't get me wrong nothing will feel quite as good and solid as that m4 in your hands but I'm gonna get darn close and still come in at $700 or less.
So I got the m2000 tactical online for $405.00 on gunbroker. Have since added the Nordic comp +2 mag extension. Also added their barrel clamp with rail. (GREAT quality stuff.) I also have their 12 ga follower but have not put that in yet. I have heard it causes jams but cannot confirm or deny that yet I'll follow up with that. Best mod I have made is the addition of the GG&G tactical charging handle. (it's for a Benelli m1 but fits the m2000. So does the original Nordic comp handle as confirmed by Nordic) this not only looks great it is much more functional then the little handle that comes with the gun. I have also added an offset flashlight mount to the Nordic barrel clamp and a UTG tactical flashlight with pressure switch. Finally I custom installed a magpul 4 inch polymer rail on the bottom of the forend and the magpul AFG2 angled fore grip. This not only makes this gun fit like a glove in my hand but looks super bad ass! The last things I am going to install is the tac2
TACTICAL BOLT RELEASE ASSEMBLY and a limbsaver recoil pad. The gun looks and fires great and I feel I accomplished my goal.

Nice guns guys! I'm a soon-to-be M2000 owner. I had an M1 S90 before and sold it because it was just too valuable to beat around. Look forward to getting my new beater and enjoying it instead of worrying about scratching it!

I agree, I bet I have about 500 rounds though mine in the first year, turkey hunting last year, dove season and duck season and never a jam or miss fire. I did put a bunch of loads through it from the start also broke it down and cleaned it before it was ever shot, this past duck season it was dropped in the swamp, picked up dumped water out and kept shooting (cleaned well at end of hunt) best $400 I ever spent for combo with 2 barrels.

After I got my M2000 broken in I haven't had any problems with it. I've used it hunting Snowshoe Hares in -15 degree weather and never had a stoppage. An excellent buy for the money.
