Default Need to replace a Uberti sight part

I have managed to loose track of the thumbscrew bolt that attaches the vernier tang staff to the base. Without this part I am limited to 300yds. Thats too close!! Does anyone know how I need to go about getting another one. I just need the thumbscrew, not the whole sight assembly.

Probably from the maker of the sights. If not I would guess find out the tread and buy something that will work in place of it.

I have E-mailed Uberti 4 times in the last 3 weeks. No answer. I will try the phone on Monday and hope for the best.

Try http://www.vtigunparts.com/store/default.asp They have most parts and their customer service is excellent. I've never received a reply from Uberti Customer Support.

Yes, I have a broken mainspring in a brand-new Uberti Baby Rolling lock rifle. I have e-mailed twice, over two weeks, and with no response. Folks, this is why Fiat didn't make it last time around: they don't understand Customer Service.

BTW, that little Rolling BLock cost me $425. Not cheap for a single shot rifle! It's pretty enough on the outside, but the "interior" workmanship (it's workings) is atrocious. Sear engagement surfaces are off square, lots of rough edges, the extractor groove in the bbl was full of sharp flash that was re-machining the ejector that sits in the breech block. And so on. Fortunately, I'm a custom rifle maker and have had to do a LOT of work to get it all right. Too bad, esp. at that price!

Next, I'm going to yell at Benelli for a bit though; at least they might have a working phone!

Have you tried calling them at one of these numbers?

    Stoeger Industries
    Attn: Service Department
    901 Eighth Street
    Pocomoke, MD 21851
    Phone: (301) 283-6981 or (800) 264-4962

If not you can try http://www.vtigunparts.com/store/sho....asp?type=home as they seem to stock most of the parts for Uberti guns.

I had a Uberti Cattleman SSA that had a problem right from the start. Sent it back to Stoeger and got it back in 5 business days repaired perfectly. Has worked now fine after a couple of thousand rounds through it.
