Hey everyone just signed up. I have a 28" field model nova I want to get a short barrel for. I want to set it up for HD, and I think the shorter barrel will help for deer hunting because the 28 is so cumbersome.

I found a Carlson's replacement barrel for $170ish, its 18.5" fixed cyl. smooth bore

what im looking for is an extended mag tube, or an extension



is that a 2rd extension, or 3? i dont want the mag tube to hang past the end of an 18.5 barrel, so im unsure what size to order


also, how is that light mounted? i cant tell from the pics


lastly - if i wanted to go with that sight setup, is it easily removable (the one on the receiver)? it would be nice to have, but i would want to remove for clay shooting....if not, open sights are fine...the carlsons barrel has a ramped front sight
