I`m looking at Uberti`s new 1871 rolling block Hunter Carbine, and I am wondering if the action is the same......same dimensions, same metalurgy, same strength, etc as their original baby rolling block carbines.


I have one of the original baby rolling block carbines in .357 mag.

The new carbine action is obviously up to the pressures of modern 30-30 pressures......42000 SAAMi psi
