I, just as everybody else, would like the cleaning instructions from you please Tim. I got the 3000 about 2 months ago and have had many FTF. It seems as if its much worse when the weather is around freezing or colder. I am getting the weak primer hit. The ones that go off have a very good dent in them, but the FTF round have a very weak dent. Any other ideas? I use this for a trap league every tuesday night........

another up date lol put about 4 plus boxes through mine today no ftfs, and my friend that went with me to shoot just bought a 20g over under and he also had no ftfs we shot federal and winchester ammo and both our guns shot wonderful i never shot clays before and buy the end of the day i was hitting doubles with a 12g side x side, also an older guy that went with us had two uplanders a 20g side x side and a coach gun all fired great i have no complaints with mine as of yet even wanting to get a 20g over and under for myself since my right shoulder is a touch sore from shooting my 12g so many times ( well that and the 2 boxes i shot throught my winchester 27 ) anyway i think its a pretty nice gun for what i payed for it.

I purchased a Stoeger STF 3000 yesterday and I need a manual or direction as to how to dissasemble and clean the gun.

    Also,

The gun has a gold trigger and a flying duck etched into the two tone nickel receiver? It is a 12 guage over/under with the 26" barrels and external chokes.

Is this the supreme model?? Or some other version?

I purchased it from Cabela's and they claimed it to be a demo gun for shows? Never fired but handled, so used.

Thank you for you help in advance.

    Thanks for the instructions, Tim!

After a round of shooting my friends 12g pump action at the sporting clay course, I was hooked.

I am primarily interested in blasting clays, so I figured I might as well get an over under. While I do appreciate the finer things in life, I am new to the game and unsure of the longevity of this hobby for me, so I didn't want to break the bank. We headed to Dicks and picked up a 12g STF3000 this past Saturday. It was $370 after a $50 mail in rebate. Tim was quite timely with his cleaning instructions, so I got to it in anticipation for some shooting on Sunday.

I took a friend to the course and we put 200 rounds of the Walmart Federal target rounds through her. We did have one FTF that did indeed have a dented primer, but other than that it exceeded expectations.

I nailed 29/50 on our first round, my 2nd round ever. My buddy edged me out with 31/50. Too much fun and do not regret the purchase one bit. We're looking forward to cranking out another few hundred rounds this weekend.

    Beware.

The clay target shooting sports are addictive.
