Need Help w/Locking Plate!

I am racking my brain and a bit embarrassed to ask but here goes. When reassembling, starting against the receiver, I have B DX drop shim , then B cast shim (both facing the butt). Here is where I go astray ... does the "B DX" on the locking plate go "up"? (right side up when reading the letters looking in the butt, with the rib and bead up). If you turn the lock plate 180 degrees, the "A SX" would be on top.

I put an speed bead optic on it ... did not like it and took it off. Ever since reassembling missed everything I shot at. I think may have put something back wrong.
