    Unhappy My brand new broken Stampede

    I just picked up my Stampede today. I skimmed through the manual as I always do with a new firearm just as soon as I got home. I took note of the decocking procedure and gave it a try. Once the hammer is lowered fully, it does not want to cock past half-cocked. If I "jiggle" it or bang the cylinder on the heel of my palm it will usually cock as if something has been knocked loose. Any idea what might be wrong?

    Wait one minute. I'm now wondering if this might be a lubrication issue. If I remove the cylinder and replace the base pin, it functions great!!

    Still looking for ideas.

    Nope. Not lubrication. As stupid as this sounds, maybe it's malfunctioning because it needs to be broken in?
