Default GG&G Benelli Tactical Bolt Release Pad

    Hi all,

Does the GG&G Benelli Tactical Bolt Release Pad scratch the finish of the benelli receiver when you press it? Is there some sort of protection on the back side of the button to prevent it marring the reciever finish? Otherwise, it looks like a nice design!

I have not noticed any scratches.

No, there is no wear protection.

It doesn't really slam the receiver though, I mean if you press the release button really hard it will touch, but it normally floats above the receiver a good 1/16 inch when depressed, and a lot farther out when the bolt carrier is back.

I have a slight mark on my receiver that may even rub off from all the rounds I've put through my gun.

    I wouldn't worry about it.

I mean, after putting it on, why would you ever want to take it off?
