You really have to crank/loctite down the pad to the screw though, I had mine break free once when I only half cranked it down ... it will just spin around until you align the pad and tighten the screw more.
It's not cheap, but it's a total replacement mechanism, both inside and outside the gun. Lots of competitors products are just pads that stick onto the existing hardware, or some other bootleg method. The GG&G is a legitimate replacement part ... I wish I could say it wasn't the best available, as i don't really like most GG&G things, but unfortunately I think at the current time it is by far the best pad available ...

I wanna do this mod to my m4 also.... how easy is it to do at home? I also want to do the oversized bolt carrier charging handle. Is it made by GG&G also?
