    Default Condor compitition safety question

My condor has a selective switch which I believe to have a U pattern.

    Barrel 2 Barrel 1
    Safety Safety

I can't go directly from barrel 1 to 2. Can I shoot doubles without shifting(i.e. down over up)?

    Is this a singles gun?
Is their anything I can do to make this a doubles gun?
Can I replace the trigger and who makes one?

It should switch barrels when you fire it. You shouldn't have to toucch the safety for it to fire both barrels. It has the inertia trigger. Have you taken the stock off and sprayed out the innards? Do not oil the inertia block. But do lightly oil everything else.

I have oiled the inner parts well everything except the inertia block. Still the same problem. Can not fire both barrels with two trigger pulls.

When you fire one barrel the recoil sets the trigger for the second one.
When you use snap caps or dry fire (what you shouldn't do) bump the butt on the floor after you pull the trigger the first time to set the trigger for the second barrel. You will hear a click.

Good luck and keep your cheek on the stock.

Do you have to have it in the barrel 1 mode or the barrel two mode?

    It shouldn't matter.

My Churchill has an inertia trigger. My son got baffled when he cleaned it and dry fired it. When it wouldn't switch barrels, he thought he had ruined the gun.

If you are firing ammo, the recoil sets the inertia block for the next barrel to fire. If you are dry firing, drop it on the butt a few inches from the floor. The inertia block will switch because it thinks you fired the gun.
