Would You Watch This?

We've got a couple of hunters on this site that seem to be living the life many of us won't even allow ourselves to dream of.

So, a recent discussion on hunting shows has raised an interesting question.

I push my luck with the wife and kids enough as it is, great some of us can go to the extreme.

I like to drink a lot of beer after the hunt with my friends, this is almost worth filming in itself

You know, a lovable guy that I think Benelli has WAY under utilized, is Tom Knapp.

He has a great voice, is well known to Benelli shooters, and in fact has his own small but nice web site where he sells a few parts etc.

Benelli spends a fortune in advertising hard copy and would be well advised to allocate some of their advertising budget towards some Tom Knapp segments with him discussing maintenance and design features then a short "go shoot her" at the end to show what the Benelli's can do. It's exactly what Benelli helps him to do anyway, with the addition of the design and maintenance discussions ...heck Tom might even want to walk a pheasant field or two, if they asked him.

Provide the short segments on this web site, short additions to the tele specials on fancy shooting, and especially, provide them to the big chain stores to run in their gun / hunting departments....

Benelli's hard copy advertising is among the best, if not the best, but they are missing a good bet here and I am surprised they haven't figured this out.

If approached right, I can't imagine Tom would turn them down.

Good for Benelli, and good for Tom
