    Question Bisley Hammers

Can anyone help me? I am trying to find out if the Bisley hammers are interchangeable with the regular SAA hammers.
I have a Uberti Outlaw in .357 but unfortunately my thumbs are a little short reaching the spur. I don't really care for having to change my shooting grip when cocking the gun. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Nick

i dont think they are, the rugers have a strike plate that wont allow the hammer to strike the firing pin if its not loaded. im not sure if the SAA does.does it?? may i suggest cocking the hammer with the oppisite hand? thats what i do with all my revolvers.i hold the pistol with my right hand, and wrap my left hand over my right, using the thumb on my left hand souly to cock the gun. i do this even with my double action guns.
