    Default Stoeger uplander questions

Just bought the combo uplander and I was shocked at how nice the wood was! I have a couple questions, how do I know which choke I have, I see there are notches which I'm assuming tells what it is? Where can I get different chokes and are they interchangeable with any other brands?

I have a Stoeger 2000, and the choke tubes that came with it are specified as follows:

    Skeet - 5 notches
    IC - 4
    Modified - 3
    Full - 1
    Extended Turkey - no notches

You should be able to find some after market chokes. I don't know which ones will fit yours though.

Thanks for the info, It looks like it came with IC and Mod for both the 12ga and 20ga barrels. I think I'm going to get a full choke for the 20 ga and go mod/full for rabbits and stay the way it is for grouse and such in the 12ga. Now I just need to find out what chokes are interchangeable so I can get a couple turkey tubes for the 12 ga.

Check out Brileys website: Briley.com. They have a conversion chart. The Condors (O/U) take Winchester Winchoke or Invector (NOT Invector plus). I would think it would be the same for the Uplander.
