Red face How about a winchester SX3 to replace M2000

I haven't received my replacement yet ,but think I'll sell or trade the m2000 and get a super X3 if I can find one and it fits me. What do you think?

You will like the SX3. A little bit of money but nice gun.

Huck, I just bought a SX2 this fall and strongly considered the SX3 the only thing that changed my mind was the price because I got the SX2 for $300 less. The SX3 is sweet and you will for sure enjoy that far better than the M2000.

Only warning is the 3 1/2" model may be touchy with light 2 3/4" shells like you would use for trap and skeet. If you purchase the 3" gun I would expect to shoot everthing from heavy magnums to light skeet/trap loads.

More mony for sure but, this time you will have something that will last you and your kids.

TMAC Winchester says the 3 1/2 chamber guns will reliably shoot 2 3/4 at a 1 1/8oz. load. Thats usually the lightest load I shoot.have you heard of problems cycling the light loads. I could go with the 3 in. chamber if the 3 1/2 won't cycle that load.

I think it will be fine in 3 1/2", mine is like brand new and occasionally it hangs up. I just ran a box of 2 3/4" magnums through it and seems to take anything now. You only have to ask yourself if you need or want the 3 1/2" capability, you pay extra for that.
