I have known a few guys who have tried them and claimed they were junk. I cant elaborate much on what the problem was because it was a long time ago. I think the Black magic's are new? so might be better than what they made in the past.

Shoot some and tell us all about it.

The Brenneke Black Magic loads are very good. I have used them a great deal in my Benelli Nova tactical, and they shoot great plus, a harder lead slug is used and for penetration at angle on game, this is your best shot. I mostly use their 1/3/8 oz loading and I don't intend to use much else.

A serious hunting slug load especially for smooth bores.
