Default Are all M2 receivers tapped to accept sights

I was looking at an M2 12g 26", and was wondering, if I bought a 24" slug barrel in the future, could I mount ghost ring or express sights on it? The slug version looks like you can use a scope, and the tactical can take ghost rings.

Are all the M2's tapped to take these accessories, or would I have to buy the slug version, and then get a 26" smooth bore barrel?

    Thanks,
    Todd

who sells this slug barrel you talk about buying and looks like the comfor-tech stock models are the only drilled and tapped long barrel shotguns but would call CS to be sure! all the tactical M2's look to be drilled ?

That's interesting. Clearly the rifled barrel models and the tactical models are drilled. I'm surprised they don't simply drill all of them.

I thought I had read that some models have small plugs filling the tapped holes, but maybe I'm remembering wrong. I'll call customer service when I get a chance.
