Default Stoeger Cougar 8000 Owners Manual

I read in another thread about Stoeger's customer service having some problems. I also read somewhere on this BB that the owners manual web page (http://www.stoegerindustries.com/cus...vice/index.tpl) has not gotten any owners manuals posted in over a year.

I have scanned the Cougar 8000 Owners Manual into a .pdf file. What I can't figure out is how to attach it this thread for others to view/download.

Can anyone tell me how to do this? If a moderator reads this thread can you supply me an email to send you the file or tell me how I can attach the file to this BB? The file is 7.71 MB in size and is a color .pdf of the actual owners manual that came with my Cougar.

    THANKS!

    Regards,

    Steve

The file cannot be attached to a post.
It must be hosted somehwere and then a link to it can be posted here.

www.putfile.com does free hosting for pdf's.
It's a PITA for users to get through the ads and download it, but it's better than nothing.

    Tucker:

Thanks for the great tip. Unfortunately, I think putfile must have changed their policy. It doesn't look like they allow uploading of .pdf files (according to their FAQ support page).

Does anyone have any other ideas that might work?

    Regards,

    Steve

    I hadn't realized they'd changed that.

    Try this one.

Since the Stoeger is identical to the Beretta, couldn't we just use the manual from Beretta which is located here-

"Give me liberty or give me death." Heck no! Give me liberty or I'll give you death.

Absolutely! I have a copy of that manual on my hard drive and didn't even think about posting a link. I have the actual Stoeger manual copied to a .pdf but could not find a place to put it as a link for others to download. Your link will have to suffice. Thanks.

    Regards,

    Steve
