Where do you measure to determine the barrel length? I bought a used SBE II that should have been a 28", but it's only about 1/4" longer than buddy's 26". If I measure from where the brass end of the shell to the end of the barrel, it measures 25". The overall length of the gun is about 1" shorter than my Remington 870 28", that I bought new.
