    Default stoeger uplander question

I just bought a stoeger uplander 12ga sxs and i already love it! However, with some loads, specifically Remington 2 3/4 game loads, it doesnt want to break open and eject half of the time, it seems the ejector wont push the spent shells out without trying a few times. I also tried Federal 3" magnum buckshot rounds and those ejected fine, any ideas??

move the saftey to then on and try. if that works might consder sending it in. the saftey is moving under recoil just enough to catch the trigger with the trigger up it can't cock the hammers hence you can't open the gun since they cock off the front things that go in the foerarm from the reciver.

that was the problem on mine. the quick recoil of the light loads made it move the slow hammer of heavy loads never moved it.

    Clean the chamber thoroughly.

Use a 10 gauge bronze bore brush, connected to a hand drill, and using your favorite bore solvent, and run it back and forth in the chamber like a hone.

Give it a try and see if this helps.
