does the nova come with shims?

Nova, no it doesn't. The stock and reciever are one piece, so it wouldn't work anyway. The Super Nova on the other hand, does come with a shim kit, and you can buy one for it. The Super Nova is the one with Comfortech and the SBE II looking trigger guard.

No, it does not.

You can go to Numrich gun parts and get a pop-in gel recoil pad that might adjust LOP but they are $90.00 which is insanity to put on a $300.00 shotgun.

You can also buy a Sims recoil pad that slips on that might change it for you.

I like the fact the forearm is very close to the receiver making for a very short stroke on the Nova/Super Nova versus the other pumps out there.
