    Default Huglu Shotgun

Well folks, I just found a 20ga auto made by a company in Turkey called Huglu. It looks just like the Franchi 720. Anyone got any ideas if they are related? It is lightweight throws up easy to the shoulder and for a gun I never heard of before it has some pretty nice wood on it.

    Default Huglu

Huglu is the Turkish firm that makes SxS and O/U shotguns imported by CZ. I have one of the early S1 SxS guns. It was imported under the Huglu name. For the money, the fixed breach guns are quite a value. I have no experience with the autos but I suspect they aren't bad. I've heard it said that Huglu makes barrels and choke tubes for Beretta, Benelli and Franchi. This may or may not be true. The choke tubes for my Huglu S1 will interchange with the the tubes from my Franchi Renaissance and my brothers Franchi 612 and 712.

Hey Duck, I am still considering buying this gun. I have looked at it twice now and am just looking for a little more info. I appreciate your input.
