    Just looking for thoughts on the Uberti 1873 Cattleman. Good, bad, or otherwise.

    Uberti makes all of the Italian Colt clones except for the recent arrival of Pietta. They can be good guns out of the box and if they are not there are cowboy action gunsmiths out there that can fix them. In the same price range are also Pietta made clones and the Taurus clones from Brazil.

    I have had the Uberti 73 for several years in 45 long colt....have had no problems with it...decent shooter
