Hi - I am new and glad to be here- I have a question - I was looking at a nickel plated Uberti Outlaw and was wondering how the finish would hold up. Also - I am going to shoot a lot of blackpowder loads- will the nickel clean ok??

Wow, this is a real popular forum! No experience with nickel on an Uberti but I have a Firestar with nickel that has held up well. The nickel should make it easier to clean with black. Hoppes used to have a warning on the bottle (may still have it) about not soaking nickel parts in Hoppes. Nickel was popular in the black powder era for its rust resistance and easier clean up.
