I am trying to identify a revolver I received when my father passsed away. He got it in Germany during W***. It has the manufacturer initials LB on it and it looks hand ingraved all over it. I have pictures I can send.

Well, I've looked all through the Official Guide To Gun Marks, 34d edition, by Robert Balderson and can't find an LB in there.
Do the letters stand alone? Are they in a circle or crown? Is there is a lion or some other design near them?
Give us more of a description. It's very difficult to identify a gun by what might only be inspector's marks.
Can you include a photo of it, so we can get a better idea?
