I plan on attending a tactical shotgun course this weekend and will be shooting slugs and buckshot in the same course of fire. What choke tube should I use that would give me the best all around performance? I will be using a M-1/Super 90 Combat with ghost ring sights.

The more open choke work best for Slug and buckshot. Cylinder is your best choice followed by Skeet then Improved Cylinder.

What u need to do is go to a local shooting range with your gun and ammo and set up on paper what u will be shooting at. try three different tubes- cylinder, improved cyinder, and modified. which ever one works the best for both sets of ammo is the one that you should use for that event.
