Hey guys I need a little help here. I reload and shot hevi shot at all my waterfowl and turkeys. I recently splurged and bought a new SBE II. My question is "Is it safe to shoot hevi shot #4's through the Benelli Turkey choke?" The constriction is .665 and should function well however I thought I read that could do damage to the barrel. Is this so??? Please advise as tomorrow I plan on patterning this baby!!!!

Thank you in advance for your help....

Hevi-shot, the company, recommends .665 and up.
    So you're good to go.

....and www.HeviShot.com and Remington both state on their website FAQ's that the best / tightest patterns with Hevi-Shot come from .675 extended chokes.

I will be shooting Hevi-Shot in my SBE II on Thursday. Do I understand that makers of Hevi-Shot recommend something like the choke with 2 notches instead of 1 notch(tightest?).

Also, how do you guys know how many thousanths these chokes are? is it on the website?

    Thanks
