I have a "Raspy Hen" diaphragm call that that tickles the roof of my mouth to the point I can't stand it any longer. Do all diaphragms do this or am I just being a wuss? I'm fairly new to Turkey Hunting but have a great time driving my wife and dogs nuts.

I use dozens of different mouth calls from different makers with no problems at all...

I gagged on them and drooled all over myself for three years before it just clicked one day, which was last week! I had the same problem too. What helps is keeping the call in your mouth throughout the day like when you drive or watch TV. Maybe try one with a hard plastic dome. That seemed to not irritate as much.
