Anyone make their own decoys? Or just carve some for fun?

I've been looking at maybe doing one just for fun - not necessarily to use while hunting but just something to do.

I found a place that sells a kit with everything you need to make one, and instructions on how to do it. Looks kinda cool.

If I give it a whirl and don't wind up with a smurf instead of a duck maybe I'll show you the end product.

I really like the Canvasback. I'd like to do a drake and a hen.

I'm sure it'll turn out looking like a floating turd, but... I'll have fun trying it.
