How many rounds should I shoot through my SBEII before I start shooting my 3 1/2s?

You can start with the heavy 3 1/2" any time. The "light loads" are the ones that need a break in period to shoot. Best, Robert

Yea, like robert said, start with the heavy nasty suckers and then you check it by shooting the light loads. I started my SBEII with about 20-30 3" and 3.5" magnums and then shoot about 300 rounds of 1oz. loads through it. I only had problems on the first few of the 1 oz. after that, been great.

Would anyone recommend starting the other direction with lighter loads and then progressing to the heavier stuff or might that cause problems? Reason is I have a ton of trap loads I can get rid of before I go for ducks and geese the reat of the season. Thanks

That will also work, but there will be more FTE and manual extractions. Best, Robert
