I posted this under cowboy, but it may fit here too:
I just purchased this gun saturday. I have quite a few Ubertis, mostly black powder revolvers of all types, as well as a number of original Colts---this stainless cattleman has to be the best looking one made. Before I wiped it down to reveal the shiny finish (the dealer had just put it in the shelf without even wiping it off) it looked like an old Colt with no finish in excellent condition.

The Auberti pistols are made to "replicate " the originals as closely as possible. Most people get theses and think that the finish is an imperfection.(mostly people that shouldn't own firearmes, let alone sling shots)
