    Hi,
New user here. Been looking hard at the Pocket Navy and I am wondering a few things.
Does anyone know the difference in muzzle velocity between the 5-1/2 and 6-1/2" barrels?
What is the major difference between these and the regular 1851-61 Navy models?
The only BP Revolver I have ever owned was a Walker Colt back in the late 60's. I think I am too old and feeble to lift one of those now
    Thanks for any comments.

Sam: I think the Pocket Navy is built on the lighter 1862 Pocket Police frame and might be 5 shots. Somebody else might have a better handle on that... As to velocity, given the relative inefficiency of black powder I don't think you're losing much with that inch of barrel. I had the terrible hots for a 1862 Pocket Police when I hit BP revolvers for the second go-round (Like you, I did it then quit) but fell in love withy the first 1861 Navy .36 I handled. What a jewel! ~Muir
